Endocrine system consists of eight major glands throughout body, such as the thyroid gland, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, and pancreas. This system affects growth and development, metabolism, sexual function, and mood. Endocrine disease occurs if the body does not respond to hormones the way it is supposed to. When the hormone level are too low to too high, then we may say that person is suffering from Endocrine disorder.
